To all you wonderful friends, and friends of friends. We would like to take this opportunity to let you know how our fight against the orphan crisis is going this year. We took on another 137 orphans in January, taking our numbers up to 1601 orphans in 697 families. We have bought school uniforms for 454 of our poorest orphans, thanks to Foskor, Horizon International and Dickinson Marketing.

We are feeding 180 families a month, thanks to Spar Group, Horizon International, Msizi Africa and a few private monthly donors. We are excited as we have almost completed our first orphan community soup kitchen to move towards feeding our orphans daily.

We are supporting, mentoring and supplying educational toys to 23 daycares, thanks mainly to Bell Equipment, NCT Forestry, Jubane Petroleum and Leomat Construction. We have painted a daycare using high school volunteers from Saudi Arabia. We have also built a veranda onto a daycare which we finished building last year.

We have built a house for our most poorest family.

Our first Crisis Support Centre is almost at a stage where we will be able to move our main offices to in July. This centre is the first of 5. This move will be taking the support we give these desperate children to a whole new level.

A huge thanks to Round Table in Austria and Empangeni for getting our centre this far.

We are continuing with teaching our orphans' grandmothers skills, crafts and bible study.

We are getting into the schools, teaching children to read English, and leading assemblies to motivate and bring fun to all our rural children, as well as the disabled in our area.

We are distributing wheelchairs where needed. Our last gogo even arrived in a wheelbarrow!

We thank Horizon International who get individual American families to sponsor children, of which we have 67 at present. Our numbers of sponsored orphans continue to increase.

A couple of our board members, Dave and Cathy Meintjes, are now running a weekly church service for our families. After church fun:

And some very exciting news, our brightest orphan, Sinqobile Khumalo has been fully sponsored by Bell Equipment for the last 5 years at Grantleigh School. She is now in her final year, university, here she comes! I had the honour of taking her grandmother to the matric dance. We were so proud! Her grandmother had the absolute night of her life!!! :-)

Shelley managed to promote our work once this year, which we don't normally get time to do, GO SHELLEY!! :-)

Our Health Builders have been trained by Zoe Life to run the IACT program. These are counselling sessions for people living with or affected by HIV.

We really want to thank everyone, there are so many of you, for the continuous flow of donations. All our families are categorised on how desperate they are, so we make sure all your donations go exactly where they are needed.

And a huge thanks to our small base of monthly donors who are so faithful to us. Without you, there is no ways we could continue to help these thousands of desperate people.

Our final news is that this year's Annual Orphan Christmas Party will be held on the 7th and 8th of December and we will be catering for 3800 orphans and carers. We will be forming a committee this year as these parties are getting so big and are absolutely crucial to our systems running successfully the following year.
